The year has come to an end for our adult leadership class.  For their meeting in May they spent the day at Camp Sloggett, Kokee.  Their morning was spent recapping and evaluating accomplishments made throughout the year.  Puna Dawson joined the group for the day and shared her manao with the class.  In the afternoon they had a wonderful opportunity to talk leadership issues with Mayor Bryan Baptiste.    The class graduation program was held on Friday, June 15, 2007 at the Hilton Kauai Beach Resort, Jasmine ballroom. Each of the three groups in the class presented their community projects to the audience.  Certificates of completion were presented to each member following the group presentations.  The class also debuted Leadership Kaua’i’s alma mater, which was composed by one of the participants. The event was open to the public and had just over a hundred people in attendance.  Back to Top 3.
