Environmental, Safety and Health Manager at Pacific Missle Range Facility. He is currently pursuing his Bachelors Degree in Occupational, Health and Safety. Galen lives on the Westside of Kaua’i with his wife and 2 daughters and is involved with the Kekaha Pop Warner Association and enjoys Martial Arts.
Jade Battad Jade works for the County of Kaua’i Public Works Engineering Division in Community Relations. She is married to Poki and has 3 daughters. Jade is involved with American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, Status of Women, Big Brothers, Big Sisters and Na Mea Ho’omana’o.
Maile Carvalho Substance Abuse Case Worker for Child and Family Service. She is simultaneously pursuing a degree in Social Work and a Certificate in Substance Abuse Couseling. Maile resides in Kapahi with her husband and 3 children. She enjoys participating in activities that support positive growth in families and communities.
Pam Smith-Chock Permanency/Adoption Specialist, Support Group Facilitator, past ten years with Child & Family Service. Pam also helps her husband at their family business. Pam spent nine years in Hotel Management with Sheraton, and Hyatt. Born and raised on Kaua’i, a busy Mom raising twin daughters. Enjoys cooking, gardening, and lei making.
Tom Clements Tom is the Public Affairs Officer at PMRF. An Air Force veteran, he has a BS in Sociology from Regents College and an AA in Public Affairs. He and his wife have 3 children and 2 grandchildren on Kaua’i. Tom’s interests include fishing, basketball, volleyball, Hawaiian language, ukulele and guitar.
Joshua Copeland As president of Soul Construction Inc. He strives to create a company culture that exudes being intentional about serving the people it’s in contact with. He hopes Soul Construction becomes known as more than just a construction company. He enjoys golf and spending time with his wife of 13 years and their 4 children.
Daryl Edwards Assistant Development Director at Island School. She is a graduate of Kamehameha and Brown University. She recently relocated to Kaua’i with her husband and step-daughter. She enjoys dancing, swimming, music, and photography. Her interests include environmental conservation and Hawaiian cultural preservation.
Russell Fu Maintenance Manager for Kaua’i Backcountry Adventures. Lives in Wailua with his wife and children. He is active with Kaua’i K-9 Search and Rescue and enjoys hunting, fishing and salt making. Other interests include caring for his 5 horses and raising goats.

Training Coordinator at Kaua’i Community College in the Office of Continuing Education and Training. She has a BS in Mass Communication. Colleen lives in Anahola with her husband, Kahaku. She enjoys fishing, hunting, camping, paddling, hiking, and volunteering.

Social Studies teacher at Waimea High School. She has a bachelors degree from Chaminade University, and a Masters in Education Administration from the University of Hawai’i. She is an active member of St. Theresa’s school board, Hawaii Council for Economic Education, Ho’oikaika Volleyball Club, and Kaua’i Junior Olympic Softball.

He resides on the Westside, has one son and is active with the West Kaua’i Business and Professionals Association. E Ola Mau, and the Waimea Theater. Administrative Assistant for the Member Services Department of Kaua’i Island Utility Cooperative. She lives in Lihu’e with her husband and son and their two cats. She is active with Lihu’e Baseball League, Kaua’i United Way, Relay for LIfe and March of Dimes and enjoys spending time with her family going to the beach and camping.

T&D Staff Engineer at Kaua’i Island Utility Cooperative (KIUC). She has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Pacific, and resides in Waimea with her 3 children. Debra is active with the Waimea High Track Team, St. Theresa School, and enjoys crafts & beach outings with family.

Project Coordinator at Kukuiula Development. He is LEED AP Certified, has a BS in Mathematics from Pacific University and an MBA from the University of Hawai’i. Scott is a life long Kaua’i resident. Scott is active with Kukuiula Sponsored community events and enjoys all sports activities, especially volleyball and tennis.

Brianne actively volunteers for various community organizations including “the Truth” initiative, Habitat for Humanity and Aloha United Way. She enjoys digital scrapbooking, reading , baking cakes, jogging and event planning.

She enjoys dancing hula, research, and traveling.
